Description Burnett Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time Med-Surg Staff Registered Nurse (FT). Up to $65/hour! Shifts & Hours 12-hour shifts (7pm-7:30am) 5 days a pay period every third weekend 1 winter and 1 summer holiday Work-Life Balance JOB SUMMARY The Staff Registered Nurse is accountable for the professional nursing functions of supporting, planning, directing, communicating, and evaluating direct patient care for all ages. Demonstrate personal and professional growth and competent nursing practice. This position is a benefit-eligible position, including health, dental, vision along with employer paid life insurance and short-term disability insurance. We offer up to a 3% match for our 401k retirement plan. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Current RN licensure to permit practice as a registered nurse in the State of Wisconsin. BLS certification required. Current certification or eligibility to become ACLS, PALS certified within 6 months of employment. Basic ECG Monitoring experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to analyze and solve problems Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse people. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications. Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal directions/instructions. OTHER INFORMATION Must pass drug screen and physical therapy evaluation at the time of hire.
