Description Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a permanent opportunity in Anchorage, Alaska. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and clinical support during invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures. This position is ideal for a Cath Lab RN who thrives in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and values collaboration and quality patient care. Key Responsibilities • Assist with invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures including: cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device procedures and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostics/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural heart procedures (LAAC, TAVR). • Support the patient through all aspects of the procedure including transport, site preparation, sterile technique, patient monitoring, sedation support, hemostasis following catheter/sheath removal, and return to room. • Manage emergent cases and function effectively under stressful situations. • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation and complete all paperwork associated with procedures. • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams using SBAR for hand-off communication. • Collaborate with team members and support orientation as needed. Shift & Schedule • 12-hour shifts • 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM • On-call required Compensation Hourly Pay (Based on Experience) • $38.79 – $42.68 (0–5 years) • $43.95 – $49.25 (6–10 years) • $49.25 – $53.68 (10–15 years) • $53.68 – $56.74 (15–20 years) Differentials and Additional Pay • Evening Shift Differential: $2.75/hour • Night Shift Differential: $4.65/hour • Weekend Shift Differential: $2.50/hour • On-Call Pay: $4.50/hour • Certification Pay: Eligible staff may earn an additional $2.00/hour for approved RN certifications beyond those required for the role. Additional Incentives • Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 • Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis Unit Details • Cath Lab with 3 procedure rooms • Average 4–6 procedures per day • Mapping experience not required (performed by a third-party team) Requirements Active, unrestricted Alaska RN license (required). Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred. 3 years Cath Lab experience OR 5 years experience in a high-acuity setting (e.g., ICU). Experience circulating, monitoring, and supporting sedation medications (including mixing sedation drips). BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross).
