Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab Shift: 36 hrs per week, Three/12 hr shifts, Mostly 6:00am-6:30pm, occasional 7:00am-7:30pm On-Call: Candidates must be within 30 minutes of Lankenau Medical Center. Call is averaging one weeknight per week (6:30pm-6:00am) and every 7th weekend (Friday/6:30pm to Monday/6:00am) Experience: One year of recent Cath Lab Nurse experience required. Education: 1. RN Diploma, ASN required. 2. BSN preferred. Licensures/Certifications: 1. PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact. 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care for patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures within the Cath Lab unit. They will also participate in hospital committees, unit councils, and evidence-based research projects to support the interdisciplinary team.
