Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.   More about our team  The Palliative Program's RN Coordinator will play a key role as part of an interdisciplinary team in supporting the care of patients referred to palliative care for consultation.  This position supports the patient and their family, as well as the clinical team, with a focus on meeting clinical standards across the care continuum of the hospital and clinic settings.  This role will help coordinate resources and provide palliative nursing care including assessment of physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual care needs of the seriously ill patient and family.   How you will contribute  A Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator who excels in this role: * Coordinate resources and provide palliative nursing care including assessment of physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual care needs of the seriously ill patient and family. * Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations. * Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services. * Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives. * Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts on issues related to patient care, patient flow and clinical standards, policies and procedures. * Monitors departmental compliance with applicable requirements, including accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission.   Why join us We believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
