JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and pediatric units. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and administering medications while ensuring adherence to medical protocols and standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices related to nursing homes, and assisted living environments.
• Experience in medication administration and pain management techniques is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ health conditions and document findings accurately.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to medical emergencies.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures when necessary and manage pain effectively for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
• Educate patients and their families about health management, medication administration, and treatment options.
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
• Uphold the highest standards of patient care in accordance with healthcare regulations.
