Salary: $72,000-$83,000 per year depending on experience plus a comprehensive Benefit package...see Benefit information below.. Location: 17th Street Kings Highway Brooklyn Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm (35 hours per week). Responsibilities Perform the duties of licensed registered nurse for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities. You will be responsible for maintaining health records, disseminating important proactive health information to staff and families, training staff in OSHA, first aid and medication support, and leading the team in the health and safety. Under general supervision, is responsible for providing evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention in accordance with AHRC and ADS policies, OPWDD regulations and standards of the professional registered nurse. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and annual reviews as required. Understands the Scope of Practice for Licensed Practical Nurses and required supervision needed for LPN and non-licensed staff such as AMAP. Supervises staff providing care, including AMAP's and LPN's Non-Clinical setting is ideal for building relationships and supporting ongoing health. Qualifications New York State License as a Registered Nurse required. Experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities a plus.
