The Elizabeth Levinson Center (ELC) in Bangor has a full time day opening for a Registered Nurse, 3 -12 hour day shifts. This opportunity will allow the RN to utilize their skills by providing all aspects of nursing care to children and young adults with intellectual disabilities while working with low nurse to resident ratios and outstanding staffing. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Valid State of Maine driver license, reliable transportation with proof of registration and insurance, and willingness to use own transportation for work. State of Maine Registered Nurse licensure. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Insure maintenance of all medical records per state and federal guidelines. Knowledge of all medications for all individuals. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician. Generate incident, seizure, and illness reports. Monitor and report health care on daily flow report records. Coordinate laboratory care. Coordinate medical appointments (routine, fees, special and emergency). Participate in supervision and in-service training of direct care staff.
