Training of new and current staff on state regulated trainings such as medication administration, wound care, CPR/First Aid, etc. Conduct routine site visits: doing assessments, counseling of medication administration, and documenting progress utilizing Therap. Ensure that everyone receives quality, individualized health care management, resulting in their optimal health Assure health care documentation and reporting meets licensing, contracting requirements, and organizational policy. Promote the concept of teamwork and facilitate appropriate involvement of team members to promote quality healthcare supports. Act as a health/medical resource for staff, training and delegation of staff. Qualifications What Makes You A Great Fit: Registered Nurse licensed by the Kentucky board of nursing . Proven 1 year of nursing experience (can include schooling). In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times Basic computer skills Valid driver license Current auto liability insurance Reliable transportation Nice to Have: Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual, physical, and behavioral disabilities.
