Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Gastroenterology Lab/Endoscopy and Interventional Pulmonology team. RNs rotate between pre-op, intra-op and PACU. Regular work week is Monday-Friday, No weekends, No holidays. This position offers the opportunity to be cross trained for our Interventional Pulmonology services and the team functions as one unit taking care of GI and IP patients in both PreOp and PACU. This is a full time, 4x10hr shifts per week. Call is taken on a rotating basis for after-hour emergencies, on weekends & on holidays. Endoscopy RN Qualifications: Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse-to include one year critical care (ICU or ED) OR one year of PACU or one year of direct Operating Room (OR) experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an OR fellowship. Certification - Basic Life Support through AHA Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse Education-Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree.
