The team of experienced physicians, nurses, and support staff uses advanced technology to perform a wide range of procedure including screening, diagnostic, interventional endoscopy gastrointestinal and lung procedures. With a strong focus on patient comfort, safety, and timely care, the department plays a vital role in early detection, treatment, and ongoing management of digestive health conditions. How you’ll contribute   A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:  * Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. * Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. * Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation * Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. * Evaluates patient and family learning needs and provides appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances. * Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. * Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Responsibilities
