This is a full-time Nursing Unit Supervisor position: Schedule 3x12hr, 4x10hr or 5x8hr shift schedules available; Monday-Friday with no on-call requirement. This position offers the opportunity to be cross trained for our Interventional Pulmonology services and the team functions as one unit taking care of GI and IP patients in both PreOp and PACU. Our experienced, enthusiastic, welcoming team works with both inpatients and outpatients performing advanced endoscopic and pulmonary procedures on adults and pediatrics. Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Supervisor serves as a front-line leader who is accountable for delivering highly reliable results related to quality and best practices to improve the clinical operations of the unit. Embraces, uses, and understands the research behind nursing practice and quality tools. Supports unit based shared governance and decentralized decision-making structures and processes. Acts as a role model who leads by example in delivering "Service Always" and in making patient experience a priority on units of responsibility.
