1. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPLIANCE

  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • A valid National Police Check (dated within two months) or willingness to obtain.
  • Permanent residency or Australian citizenship (sponsorship not available) Applicants must currently reside in Australia to be considered.

2. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven ability to manage workloads, prioritise tasks, and lead a team.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and clinical reporting skills.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Grade 2 Registered Nurse you’ll play avital role in supporting the health and wellbeing of our residents. This hands-on leadership position involves guiding a team of personal care workers and delivering high-quality, person-centred clinical care.

Duties:

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in line with professional standards
  • Work collaboratively with other health professionals to coordinate resident care
  • Provide treatments, administer medications, and monitor responses to care plans
  • Lead and support care staff, ensuring safe and professional practice
  • Communicate clearly with residents, families, and staff, providing information and support about care and treatment
  • Promote health and wellbeing, and contribute to illness prevention activities
  • Ensure safe medication management and adherence to facility standards
  • Supervise and coordinate Enrolled Nurses and care staff
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and maintain ongoing professional developmen
