JOB SUMMARY

Delivers professional nursing care to injured workers with complex health needs. Leads care planning and evaluates outcomes in accordance with the nursing scope of practice and Designated authority standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as an RN.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in community or acute care.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Clear criminal record check under CRRA.
  • Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as per the client’s care plan.
  • Conduct health status assessments and document clinical observations.
  • Provide wound care, catheter care, tube feeds, and other clinical procedures.
  • Supervise and guide unregulated care staff such as HCAs.
  • Collaborate with the Injured Worker’s Primary Care Practitioner and Designated authority Officer.
  • Respond to clinical emergencies and report incidents per Designated authority protocol.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences when required.
  • Maintain and submit accurate documentation, reports, and invoices.
  • Comply with all confidentiality and privacy requirements under FIPPA.
