We are seeking highly qualified, part- and full- time Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team to deliver excellent care for our residents. The ideal candidates will have senior living experience (e.g., long-term care, assisted living, memory support) with a passion for working with an elderly population. CURRENT SHIFTS AVAILABLE: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a senior living/CCRC environment, promoting resident dignity, independence, and safety. Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition; report findings promptly to physicians and nursing leadership. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans; maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely per physician orders and facility protocols. Assist physicians and healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and clinical evaluations. Coordinate interdisciplinary care with nursing, therapy, social services, dietary, and other teams to ensure continuity across levels of care. Delegate to and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure safe, effective resident care. Manage admissions, transfers between care levels, and discharges per CCRC policies and regulatory standards. Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and oral care as needed. Implement fall prevention strategies, infection control protocols, and maintain a safe, restraint-free environment. Ensure availability and proper use of medical equipment, supplies, and emergency resources. Educate residents and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, and ongoing health management. Provide ongoing clinical leadership as an RN, ensuring regulatory compliance, quality care standards, and resident-centered outcomes. Requirements REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED required. Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia; nursing degree required. Minimum of three (3) years of progressive nursing experience in Assisted Living, Memory Support, Long-Term Care, or CCRC setting. Current CPR/BLS/AED certification required; ISP/UAI preferred. Experience with EMR systems preferred. Perform comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and clinical procedures per physician orders and facility protocols. Monitor residents for condition changes and initiate timely interventions and escalation as needed. Provide direct and complex nursing care, including wound care, chronic disease management, pain management, and end-of-life care. Delegate to LPNs and CNAs to ensure safe, quality resident care. Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families to ensure continuity across levels of care. Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges within a CCRC/senior living environment. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, infection control, and safety protocols. Educate residents and families on care plans, medications, and health conditions. Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation. Participate in care conferences, quality improvement, and survey readiness activities. Provide leadership in promoting a safe, respectful, and resident-centered environment. Use strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills in daily practice. Physically able to assist with resident mobility and lift/transfers up to 50 lbs. Flexible availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
