Assess resident needs, develop individual care plans, administer nursing care, evaluate nursing care, and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.   Qualifications * Must hold and maintain a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Hawaii * Demonstrate understanding that state and Federal rules and regulations govern the practices within the facility. * Demonstrate working knowledge of infection control principles and practices.  * Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long-term care. * Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures that are necessary for providing quality care. * Proven ability to communicate effectively and positively with staff, residents and family members. * Basic computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company software. * Must meet all local health regulations and pass post-employment physical exam, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.   #AvalonRN
