Registered Nurse (RN) Status/FTE: TPD / 0.2 FTE Shift length: 12 hours Start Time: 1900 Unit: ICU Schedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Minimum of 12 shifts per 12 weeks or 3-month evaluation period. Including Two (2) weekend shifts (may be non-consecutive) per three (3) month evaluation period. Also, two (2) holidays per year to include one (1) winter and one (1) summer holiday.   Required qualifications: * Current state RN license * Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school * BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire * ACLS required within six months of hire * One (1) year of ICU experience  Preferred qualifications: * BSN * Experience in critical care * Previous experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy * CCRN certification   Additional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patient from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the critical care setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, mentor, and positive role model for assistive personnel.
