Get to Know Your Team: BSA Harrington Cancer Center is a state-of-the-art, 48,000-square-foot facility with two new linear accelerators for radiation treatments, 24 patient exam rooms, 28 heated chemotherapy infusion chairs and three private infusion rooms for families. Responsibilities The Oncology Registered Nurse is accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members. Qualifications Job Requirements: High School (or GED equivalent) diploma. Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN License. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Advanced Life Support Certification (ACLS). Preferred Job Requirements: Previous acute care experience.
