Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital South, a full-service 180-bed facility located in south Tulsa, offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services utilizing cutting-edge technology in a welcoming community environment. As the only DNV Orthopedic Center of Excellence (OCE) in Oklahoma, Hillcrest South stands out for its exceptional orthopedic care. The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses. The Registered Nurse shall be responsible for assessing, planning, supervising and evaluating the nursing care of patients and for correlating the nursing process, the medical plan of care and policies. Job Requirements: Must have obtained an associate’s degree or higher in Nursing. Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse. Must obtain and maintain a current certification in Fetal Monitoring. NRP and ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: One year of experience as an RN, preferably in the area of application.
Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, supervising, and evaluating nursing care for patients. They must correlate the nursing process with the medical plan of care and hospital policies.
