Description Join Our Care Team We are seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team. Nurses are assigned to a specific care area, which may include memory care, long-term care, or skilled nursing, depending on the position. Position Summary The RN/LPN is a valued member of the nursing team responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with each resident’s individualized care plan. This role supports residents in a designated care setting while promoting dignity, comfort, and safety. RNs and LPNs also provide clinical oversight, coordination of care, and guidance to nursing assistants as appropriate. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and clinical interventions Assess residents’ physical, emotional, and cognitive status and respond appropriately Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team Supervise and support CNAs in delivering daily care and ensuring quality standards are met Observe, document, and report changes in residents’ condition to appropriate team members Promote residents’ independence, preferences, and dignity while maintaining safety Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, team members, residents, and families Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing interventions Requirements Active and in-good-standing RN or LPN license in the State of Maine Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers, residents, families, and supervisors Ability to exercise clinical judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in spoken and written English Basic computer skills Shifts Available: Full-Time or Part-Time positions available. Most positions require every other weekend.
