A growing pediatric clinic located in Washington, DC (NW DC area) is currently looking for a Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN to join their team full-time! Check out the details below:
Title: Pediatric Nurse - RN / LPN
Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire
Setting: Pediatric / Clinic
Location: Washington, DC (NW DC area)
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm. Rotating weekends will eventually be required
Pay: $34-38/hr based on experience plus full benefits (PTO, paid holidays, paid parking, uniform stipend, 75% employer covered health insurance premiums, STD, LTD, 401k with profit sharing and safe harbor)

The Pediatric Nurse RN LPN duties to include but may not be limited to:

  • Handle telephone inquiries and triage
  • Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care
  • Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Administer injections, including medication and vaccines
  • Administer nebulizer treatments and other office procedures
  • Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Valid Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license in DC
  • Proficient with electronic medical records
  • Previous outpatient setting or pediatric experience is a plus, not required
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
