Department/Unit Summary The registered nurse (RN) plans, coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the 3 North-Surgical & Pediatrics floor. The RN ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with departmental standards of care. The RN demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the assigned unit and the organization. They remain flexible to changing systems - are expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practices, and treat staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. 30 Medical Beds 19 Surgical Beds 5:1 Day Ratio 5:1 Night Ratio 12 Hour Shifts How you’ll contribute You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator.
