Reports to: Director or Manager of Medical Surgical Department How You’ll Contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: * Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. * Documents patient care and monitors patient condition, communicating with care team, physician, patient, and family. * Assists patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. * Coordinates patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and support needs. * Provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, and circumstances. * Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients. * Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. * Maintains regular and reliable attendance. * Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care in the Medical-Surgical department by performing clinical interventions, administering medications, and monitoring patient conditions. They also coordinate care across disciplines and provide education to patients and their families.
