MEDICAL UNIT RN:

• Provide clinical leadership and nursing care coordination on the medical unit.
• Manage complex or unpredictable patient care needs within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with NSHA documentation standards.

Overview :

QUALIFICATIONS (BOTH ROLES)

• Registered or eligible for registration with Nova Scotia College of Nurses (NSCN).
• Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year recent nursing experience; emergency experience preferred for ED role.
• Current CPR certification; ACLS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Meditech).
• French language skills an asset.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 4 days per week.
