Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU. Responsibilities The RN Staff Nurse functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population in order to achieve desired outcomes. This position directs and oversees the care provided by other caregivers through delegation, validation, evaluation, and coordination. This position effectively coordinates patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians, and support services. The RN Staff Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager. Qualifications Job Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) with the New Jersey Board of Nursing. Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited program in nursing BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification or the American Red Cross (ARC) 1-2 years NICU or Special Care Nursery nursing experience Preferred Job Requirements: Neonatal Nursing certification Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
