Description
Description Clatsop Care Health & Rehabilitation is the only skilled nursing option in our area, and we are proud to be 100% community-owned and not-for-profit. Supported by local tax dollars for half a century, we answer to our community, not corporate shareholders. We are looking for a dedicated Night Shift RN who values autonomy, a close-knit team environment, and the profound impact of providing compassionate care during the quietest hours. If you are seeking a workplace where you are respected as a clinical leader and deeply valued by the community you serve, Clatsop Care is your new home. The Role: Autonomy and Excellence As a Night Shift Registered Nurse, you are the cornerstone of our facility's overnight operations. You will lead the shift, ensuring our residents in the Skilled and Intermediate Units rest safely and comfortably. This role offers a unique level of independence and the opportunity to practice nursing at its purest. What You Will Do: •Independent Leadership: Oversee all clinical operations during the night shift, making critical decisions and ensuring a safe, healing environment. •Expert Care: Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, IV therapy, and specialized treatments per physician orders. •Team Guidance: Direct and support the night shift nursing staff, maintaining high standards of care and policy compliance. •Crisis Management: Act as the primary clinical authority, initiating emergency procedures with confidence and expertise when necessary. Why the Night Shift at Clatsop Care is Special: •Autonomy: Enjoy the independence that comes with leading the night shift in a supportive, non-corporate environment. •Deep Connections: Build meaningful relationships with residents and a tight-knit night crew. •Community Impact: Be the vital safety net for Astoria's seniors when they need it most. •Schedule: 12-hour night shifts designed to maximize your days off on the beautiful Oregon coast. •Compensation & Benefits: Competitive wages, shift differentials, full benefits (Health, Dental, Vision, 401k, PTO), and a Sign-On Bonus (terms apply). Requirements What We Need From You: •Current Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) License. •Current CPR certification. •Strong clinical judgment and the ability to function independently. •A calm, reassuring presence and a commitment to quality care. Step away from the corporate grind and step into a role that truly matters. Apply today to lead our night shift team.
