Positive Changes is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at one of our Oklahoma City metro locations. The specific assignment will be determined based on program needs. This is a Monday-Friday position, supporting the assessment, care, and treatment of patients in our partial hospitalization program.

Job Summary
Positive Changes is a partial hospitalization behavioral treatment program for children and adolescents that started in 2005. Positive Changes has three facilities which are located in Oklahoma City, Bethany, and Tulsa. The patients receive individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, daily rehab services from case managers, and school curriculum from the public schools during the school year. The patients also meet with a psychiatric physician 4-8 times per month for medication management. Positive Changes operates five days per week, Monday through Friday, except for the six major holidays. During the school year, the patients attend the program from 8:30am- 3:30pm. The patients receive half a day of rehab services and half a day of school curriculum. During the summer, the patients attend the program from 8:30am-1:30pm where they receive rehab services. Salary will be based on experience.
The role of the RN or LPN at Positive Changes is to help monitor and document patient behavior and response to medication and treatment, facilitate adjustments to patient medication and educate families on medication benefits/side effects, monitor and document physical holds, complete admission/intake assessments as needed, communicate and collaborate with therapists and providers regarding patient care, keep accurate and detailed medical records on each patient.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour for LPN
