Description Are you an Outpatient or Medical Office Registered Nurse looking for a meaningful new opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) to support patient care at Pine Ridge Hospital, an Indian Health Service (IHS) facility serving the Oglala Sioux Tribe community. As a Contract RN, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative, mission-driven healthcare environment. Position Details Schedule: Regular Schedule – 40 hours per week, Monday thru Friday Clinic Hours: Sunday–Friday, 8 AM–8:30 PM, Day Shift 0800-1630 (8 hours), 0830 -1900 (10 hours), Evening Shift 1030-1900 (8 hours), Sunday Clinic 1000-1830 (8 hours), and Holiday Clinic 1000-1830 Contract: Minimum 3 months, with additional Extension options Shifts: (8)eight-hour shifts (10) ten-hour shifts Lunch: 30-minute unpaid lunch required (may be adjusted if working through noon) Flexibility Required: Schedule maintained and adjusted by the Department Nurse Supervisor Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Holiday Pay Clinical Setting Family Medicine / Maternity/Pediatrics/Outpatient Clinic Clinic is closed on Weekends and Holidays Services may include general medical, pediatric, prenatal, and geriatric care Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments Develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications and treatments Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Provide patient and family education Maintain accurate clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement initiatives Perform outpatient nursing procedures as required Additional Duties: Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time.
