Key Responsibilities * Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive post-anesthesia evaluations, heavily focusing on airway management, hemodynamic stability, and pain control. * Vital Monitoring: Continuously measure, assess, and record patients' levels of consciousness and vital signs (e.g., blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels).  * Symptom Management: Administer prescribed medications to treat post-operative side effects, such as pain, nausea, and vomiting.  * Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary staff to prioritize patient acuity, unit flow, and specialized interventions. * Emergency Response: Provide airway management, administer emergency fluids or drugs, and utilize advanced cardiac life support techniques when necessary.  * Discharge & Education: Provide emotional support, comfort measures, and clear post-operative discharge instructions to patients and their families. Qualifications & Requirements * Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program. BSN or MSN is highly preferred. * Experience: Prior clinical experience in a hospital setting. Previous background in PACU, Critical Care/ICU, or the Operating Room (OR) is strongly preferred. * Licensure: Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Virginia. * Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain within a set timeframe).    Equal Opportunity Employer: ATC Healthcare Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
