Description Phoenix Heart, PLLC has an immediate opening for a PreOp/ PACU nurse in our office-based procedure lab (OBL). The position involves preparing and recovering patients who undergo peripheral artery interventions, diagnostic cardiac catheterization, synchronized cardioversion, loop implantation and other invasive/ interventional procedures. PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) The PreOp/PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from interventional procedures and sedation, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge Requirements Qualifications · Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing · Active RN license in AZ · BLS and ACLS Required · Minimum of 2 years experience in PreOp/PACU, Med/Surg or Critical Care. Previous experience working in an ASC or OBL setting preferred. · Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment. · Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit. · Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
