With 5 different homes, a Registered Nurse (RN) can have a positive impact on the lives of Elders through supporting the CNA’s who provide direct Eldercare and positively impacting the lives of Elders through the application of critical thinking skills. How you will contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: * Develops and implements a patient focused nursing plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family. * Cares for patients in accordance with established best practices. * Documents patient care given. * Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. * Assist patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. * Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. * Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. * Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. * Maintains the privacy and security of all confidential and protected health information. Use and disclosure only that information which is necessary to perform the function of the job. * Contributes to and assists in maintaining a pleasant patient environment in a safe and orderly manner. What we are looking for Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor's degree preferred). Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will develop and implement a patient-focused nursing plan of care in collaboration with the patient and family, while monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions to the care team and physician. Responsibilities also include assisting patients with daily living activities, coordinating care across disciplines, and providing appropriate patient/family education.
