Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. This permanent position offers the opportunity to support residents with complex care needs in a collaborative and resident-focused environment. The RN will play a key role in care planning, team leadership, and ensuring clinical excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care and oversee the clinical well-being of residents
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor changes in resident health and collaborate with physicians and care teams
  • Supervise and support RPNs, PSWs, and other front-line staff
  • Ensure compliance with all LTC policies, procedures, and Ministry regulations
  • Participate in care conferences, audits, quality improvement, and staff training
  • Respond to emergency situations with sound clinical judgment

Job Qualifications:

  • Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care or geriatric setting
  • Knowledge of RAI-MDS, IPAC, and LTC regulations considered an asset
  • Excellent assessment, clinical, and communication skills
  • CPR certification (current)
  • Must provide a recent Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as per current LTC guidelines
