The hospital’s RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses. The Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for using the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients. Responsible and accountable for identifying and prioritizing needs, formulating the plan of care, prioritizing/managing/delegating interventions, and collaborating with the physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team. Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited nursing school Current Registered Nurse license in Oklahoma BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Preferred Job Requirements: One or more years of experience in a Step-Down Unit Med/Surg experience with an aptitude for developing new skills will be considered
