JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role involves working in various settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and outpatient clinics, providing high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient needs, implement care plans, and ensure optimal health outcomes.

SKILLS

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks)
  • Critical care experience (ICU/PICU)
  • Medical office experience with a focus on geriatrics or senior care
  • Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and DRG systems
  • Experience in acute care settings, including Level I/II trauma centers
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and physical examinations
  • Experience administering injections, phlebotomy, and specimen collection/processing
  • Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques
  • Skills in pain management, acute pain management, and medication administration
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs
  • Competence in case management, utilization review, or discharge planning
  • Strong communication skills for effective patient education and family support
