Description: Our Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) in all four of our acute care hospitals are situated in the western suburbs of Philadelphia and range from a Level III to a Level II NICU department. Our medical staff from CHOP provides in-house coverage 24 hours a day. You would be a part of our NICU RN team that is specially educated and experienced in the care of high-risk and premature infants. As a NICU nurse, you will be uniquely trained to counsel and help parents cope with the emotional stress and practical problems associated with having a baby in the NICU, all while providing the best medical care possible to the patient. Education, Licensures & Certifications RN Diploma, ASN required; BSN preferred. PA RN license required. BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as preferred by clinical specialty. Other Requirements: This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
Responsibilities
