Description Delmar Gardens of Smyrna is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to work as a supervisor. The candidate will assist nurse managers with overseeing the clinical operations of our beautiful skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. The shift manager will: Monitor work flow of staff and redefine priorities as needed Make rounds on all divisions to ensure resident care needs are met Direct and evaluate nursing services provided on assigned shift, ensuring delivery of quality of resident care Demonstrate knowledge of residents who are at high risk for negative outcomes and communicate to staff at all levels Ensure appropriate resident care is documented during shift Perform a variety of nursing procedures according to acceptable standards of practice such as wound care, catheterizations, tracheal care, tube feedings, and administering oxygen Act as a resource for nursing staff Other duties as assigned Delmar Gardens is a family-owned, St. Louis-based company that has been serving the community for 60 years.
