Supports the surgical team by monitoring patient safety before during and after surgery and documentation. May assist to scrub when needed. The registered nurse is responsible to take weekend call (approximately every 4-5th weekend) and during the week (includes the weekend call). Because your experience matters. Reports to: Director of Surgical Services Patient Populations Served: Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult. Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record. Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees. Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
