Position Summary & Responsibilities * Cardiac Monitoring: Interprets EKG/telemetry strips, identifies arrhythmias, and acts promptly on changes in vital signs. * Patient Care: Provides comprehensive nursing care, including medication administration, wound care, and managing patient care plans for cardiovascular patients. * Assessment & Action: Rapidly assesses patients, collaborating with specialists in a fast-paced environment. * Documentation: Accurately documents cardiac data and patient interventions in Electronic Health Records (EHR). * Communication: Educates patients and family members regarding procedures and post-hospital care.    Requirements * Active RN license in Virginia or Compact state. * BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required. * 1+ years of experience in telemetry, step-down, or ICU preferred. * Strong critical thinking and rhythm interpretation skills.    About Sentara Norfolk General Hospital As part of Sentara Health, this position offers the chance to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment focused on high-quality patient care and technological innovation   Equal Opportunity Employer: ATC Healthcare Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
