We’re currently hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our compassionate and dynamic team at Casa Mia Care, located in Vancouver, B.C. The Opportunity: Registered Nurse 4 evening (2:3pm-10:30pm)- 4 on 2 off In this role, you'll lead and support the delivery of high-quality care in a warm, resident-focused environment. As a key member of the team, you'll collaborate across disciplines, coordinate care, and guide unregulated care providers—all while building meaningful connections with residents and their families. What You’ll Be Doing: Coordinating resident admissions, discharges, and transfers Completing resident assessments and leading the care planning process Administering medications, wound care, and treatments Utilizing PointClickCare for accurate electronic charting and completing MDS assessments Communicating with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams Taking on Charge Nurse responsibilities when required Delegating tasks and supporting unregulated care staff Participating in care conferences and medication reviews What We’re Looking For: Registered and in good standing with BCCNM Current CPR/First Aid certification Confident using electronic documentation systems (eMAR, PointClickCare) Strong critical thinking and leadership skills Fluent in English (verbal and written) Previous experience in long-term care preferred Why You’ll Love Working at Casa Mia: Casa Mia is a Care Home on a heritage estate property located along Vancouver's Southwest Marine Drive. This expanded and updated heritage home will offer 90 long term care beds, consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Many with expansive views over the Fraser River and towering trees. Casa Mia is a storied 1930’s mansion boasting views of gorgeous grounds, the Fraser River, Georgia Straight, and the mountains of Vancouver Island. This estate home features three stories with a grand dining area, ballroom, recreation areas and large outdoor patios on each floor. Casa Mia provides our residents with a modern care environment with a throw back to Vancouver’s heritage. Casa Mia works in collaboration with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.
