OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, and have experience in various healthcare settings. This role requires proficiency in patient assessment, medication administration, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic or Cerner is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ICD-9/ICD-10 coding and medical terminology.
  • Critical care experience or experience working in a Level I or Level II trauma center is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of acute pain management, hospice & palliative medicine, geriatrics, or behavioral health is a plus.
  • Proficiency in IV infusion, phlebotomy, venipuncture, and airway management techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds including those with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions such as Alzheimer’s or dementia.
  • Strong communication skills for effective patient education and collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Willingness to engage in continuing education opportunities related to nursing practice. Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in various procedures such as suturing, IV insertion, catheterization, and wound care.
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care post-discharge.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.
