Brisbane Private Hospital are seeking experienced Theatre Registered Nurse Scrub Scouts to join our team on a full time, part time or casual basis. In addition to these opportunities, we also have Twilight evening shifts available for those wanting to just work evenings from 5pm-9pm. We are recognised as a centre of excellence in Orthopaedic Surgery, with over 30 dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeons who utilise the latest in orthopaedic technology such as the ROSA and CORI robots. About us: Set at the top of Wickham Terrace, Brisbane’s busiest medical precinct, above the Roma Street Parklands in the heart of the CBD, Brisbane Private Hospital is an acute and rehabilitation hospital with 181 beds, 17 operating theatres and dedicated surgical, ICU and rehabilitation wards. About the role: This opportunity will see you join our theatre team and provide exceptional care throughout our patient’s procedures. Your duties may include: Aiming to achieve optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care by following evidence based practice. Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients within the theatre complex. Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated to daily activities Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional development. Providing education and training assistance to other staff when applicable. Essential criteria: Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent A minimum of two years’ experience as a Perioperative Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse Registered with no restrictions with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - AHPRA Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing highly desirable or working towards Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment Proven ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously Remuneration: If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope-Queensland-Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 (salaries range between $39.66/hr - $52.97/hr for Registered Nurses) About Us Why Healthscope?
