Norwest Private Hospital is seeking passionate and experienced Perioperative Registered Nurses – Scrub Scout, Anaesthetic and Recovery to join our Perioperative team on a casual basis. • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
• Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team including the Surgical Consultant, Fellows, Registrar, and Allied Health to achieve excellence in patient’s clinical outcomes and hospital experience
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the patient
• Document into the patient’s medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminolog
