How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide nursing development programs that align clinical excellence with the organization’s long-term strategic goals. Design robust competency management systems and transition-to-practice programs to ensure every clinician is prepared to provide safe, high-quality patient care. Partner with executive nursing and HR leadership to identify future workforce needs, creating proactive education pathways that close competency gaps before they impact care. Integrate evidence-based research and clinical standards into daily practice, empowering nursing teams to improve patient outcomes. Mentor and develop the next generation of nurse leaders and clinical educators, fostering a culture of continuous professional growth and certification. Evaluate program success using data analytics to refine educational strategies, ensuring our training investments result in measurable improvements for both staff and patients. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Master's degree required. Work Experience: 5 years of experience required. 10 years of experience preferred. 2 years of leadership or management experience required. 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred. What additional preferences we're seeking Doctoral degree in Nursing (PhD, DNP, EdD, or equivalent) preferred. National certification in nursing professional development or education preferred. Experience in system-level or multi-site health care organizations preferred. Active engagement with national nursing education and professional development organizations (ANPD, NLN, AACN, AONL) preferred.
