What You’ll Do Provide Exceptional Care Deliver high-quality nursing care in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes Develop and implement individualized care plans that support long-term wellness Lead & Support Your Team Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure safe, effective care delivery Foster a positive, collaborative work environment Serve as a clinical leader and resource for your team Ensure Accurate Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with all regulations Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, and family members Complete all required documentation, including assessments, physician orders, progress notes, flowsheets, and consents Medication Management Safely administer and document medications, including post-admission doses Monitor for effectiveness and adverse reactions Maintain narcotic records and coordinate medication orders Complete physician order reviews and initiate therapies as ordered Clinical & Emergency Response Respond quickly to changes in resident condition Initiate emergency interventions and perform CPR when needed Stay Compliant & Professional Follow all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act Maintain punctuality and reliability What You Bring Current, active RN license Strong knowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong organizational and time management abilities A team-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for resident care Why Mountain Valley of Cascadia? Requirements Requirements Education Graduate of an accredited RN program (BSN preferred) Licensure & Certification Current RN license in the state of employment Valid CPR certification Experience Minimum of six (6) months experience in long-term care preferred
