ABOUT THE ROLE AND WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING:

Our residential care team at Frank Prendergast House are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and lead the delivery of client-focused care.
Caring for the local community since 2002, Frank Prendergast House is centrally located in Success in Perth’s southern suburbs. Catering for up to 73 residents, Frank Prendergast House features wide corridors, multiple lounge areas for residents and visitors to enjoy and enclosed walkways between houses.
As one of our Registered Nurses, you’ll be expected to lead small clinical teams that provide high standards of person-centered care to all our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to improve both their clinical and leadership skills.
We currently have Vacancies for a Full Time registered nurse as well as a part time registered nurse. Vacant shifts are: Monday - Friday AM shifts and Thursday Night shift.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Supervise and direct the delivery of client focused care delivered by staff
• Assess the total health needs of clients and document results thoroughly.
• Develop individual care plans in consult with clients and significant others
• Comply with all relevant legislation and policies.
• Uphold the organization’s values and principles in all areas of service delivery

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU’LL NEED:

• A valid AHPRA registration
• NDIS Clearance
• An understanding of Commonwealth Aged Care standards & Quality of Care principles
• Good knowledge of AN-ACC requirements
• Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
