Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE AND WHERE YOU WILL BE WORKING:

Our residential care team at Jeremiah Donovan House are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to coordinate and lead the delivery of client-focused care on a casual basis.
As one of our Registered Nurses, you’ll be expected to lead small clinical teams that provide high standards of person-centered care to all our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to improve both their clinical and leadership skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Supervise and direct the delivery of client focused care delivered by staff
  • Assess the total health needs of clients and document results thoroughly.
  • Develop individual care plans in consult with clients and significant others
  • Comply with all relevant legislation and policies.
  • Uphold the organization’s values and principles in all areas of service delivery.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU’LL NEED:

  • A valid AHPRA registration
  • An understanding of Commonwealth Aged Care standards & Quality of Care principles
  • Good knowledge of AN-ACC requirements
  • Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
