1 x permanent post, 28.12 hours per week, shifts 08:00-18:00 & 10:00-20:00
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team of Charge Nurses within Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre within Macmillan Day Bed Unit. As an essential part of our team, you’ll deliver high quality, clinically effective patient care at all times. We can offer you a varied caseload including caring for patients receiving Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies and the care of patients at varying stages in their cancer journey.
Experience in an oncology healthcare setting desirable but not essential, however candidates must hold an NMC registration to apply. This area cares for patients receiving chemotherapy for cancer. Good interpersonal, writing and numeracy skills essential.
A key part of this role will be in supporting the Senior Charge Nurses in the smooth delviery of the service , we are looking for motivated individuals who will support us with developing the service to meet the ongoing service capacity demands.
