Your role at St John of God Hospital You will provide a recovery focused approach to care that supports the whole person. Using a range of interventions you will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to providing the most up to date evidence based care and services to our clients. The Position · Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required. · Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital. · Participates in mental health promotion and educational programs for patients, families/carers. · Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and preceptoring staff. · Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. You will have a registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse, a demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills. To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
