Position: Public Health Nurse – RN (Elgin, TX)
Type: Full-Time Contract
Location: On-site in Elgin, Texas 78621 (some travel required – compensated additionally)
Duration: ASAP through Jan 15, 2026 (with potential for extension)
Compensation: DOE for specialized experience - (Hourly pay + additional pay for travel time.)
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for public health? We are seeking a qualified RN to join our team for a contract role supporting community health initiatives in Elgin, Texas. This is a vital position focused on improving health outcomes through case management, community outreach, and direct patient care.

• Serve as a Project Team Leader supporting public health initiatives.
• Manage and treat current tuberculosis (TB) patients, including conducting home visits until patients are non-infectious and able to attend clinic visits.
• Perform STD/HIV screening, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Conduct immunizations as needed, with flexibility to adjust duties based on community health priorities.
• Deliver Public Health Case Management services to individuals and families.
• Conduct state data reporting and ensure compliance with public health protocols.
• Collaborate with local and state health departments to coordinate care and services.
• Provide education, resources, and support to promote community wellness.
