Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation Ward  Location: Sunshine Hospital  Employment Type: Permanent, Part Time     About the role: Western Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join the dynamic rehabilitation team. The Rehabilitation ward is a 30-bed unit located at Sunshine Hospital. As a Registered Nurse on the Rehabilitation Ward, you'll play a crucial role in facilitating the recovery journey of our patients. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.     As a member of the Rehabilitation team, the Registered Nurse will be responsible for the provision of high-quality nursing care to patients within the unit.     Key responsibilities:  Using evidence-based practice, participate in evaluation of the progress of individuals and groups towards expected outcomes and reformulation of care plans  Be familiar with local and organisational policies, procedures, and guidelines  Contribute to adverse event investigations and undertake individual and team-based reflective practice  Participate and contribute to improvement of policies, procedures and protocols and identify  Participate in ongoing learning opportunities and complete all required Mandatory competencies    About you:  Successful completion of a Bachelor of Nursing qualification  Registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia  5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including two years in rehabilitation nursing  Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of an inter-professional health care team with effective communication, both written and verbal  Demonstrated evidence of undertaking professional development activities to maintain and enhance nursing expertise    $81,733.60 - $103,152.40 based on experience per Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employer) Enterprise Agreement 2024-2028.    Position Description   About Western Health  Western Health is one of the largest healthcare providers in Victoria, caring for a vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing community of one million people in Melbourne’s western suburbs.       With more than 13,000 staff, Western Health delivers 800,000+ occasions of care every year, providing high-quality, person-centred care across every life stage.      We provide a combination of hospital, community-based, at-home and in-reach services to aged, adult and paediatric patients and newborn babies.
