Job Title: - Registered Nurse - Surgical First Assistant

Location: Colchester General Hospital
Pay Rates: £22.99 to 36.79
Contract length: Long term placement
Working hours:07.45 AM - 17.45 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Evidence of professional development
• First Assistant training course
• Registered Nurse with current registration on part 1 or 12 of the
• NMC Register or registered AHP
• Professional qualifications
• Student supervision and assessment training

EXPERIENCE:

• Evidence of continuing professional development at degree / level
• Experience of collaborative patient-centred working with statutory and voluntary agencies
• Experience in Orthopaedic theatre

KNOWLEDGE:

• Demonstration of professional development and ability to cope with responsibilities of leadership
• Evidence of experience of managing a team
• Demonstration of regular updating of professional knowledge
• Implement and interpret policies and procedures
• Has a working knowledge of NHS and social care structures systems and processes
• I.T Skills
• Experience and understanding of clinical audit / research
